Upper Heater Hose
The upper heater hose connects the engine radiator to the interior heater. It removes coolant from the engine radiator and delivers it to the interior heater.

The end of the upper heater hose is usually connected to the upper heater hose on the engine radiator and the other end is usually connected to the heater hose on the interior heater.

Lower heater hose
The lower heater hose connects the interior heater to the engine radiator. It removes coolant from the interior heater and delivers it back to the engine radiator.

The end of the lower heater hose is usually connected to the heater hose on the interior heater and the other end is usually connected to the lower heater hose on the engine radiator.

How to find the heater hose

The heater hoses are usually located in the engine compartment, near the engine radiator and the interior heater.
If you don’t know how to find the heater hose, check your car’s repair manual. The service manual will usually provide information on the location of the heater hose.

How the heater hose connects to the engine radiator

The upper heater hose connects to the upper heater hose on the engine radiator. The upper heater hose is usually located at the top of the engine radiator, near the engine.

The lower heater hose connects to the lower heater hose on the engine radiator. The lower heater hose is usually located at the bottom of the engine radiator, near the engine.

To replace the heater hose, proceed as follows

Drain the coolant from the cooling system.

Use coolant hose clamps or a wrench to loosen the heater hose clamps.
Carefully remove the old heater hoses from the engine radiator and interior heater.
Install the new heater hoses to the engine radiator and interior heater.
